Danielle McFadden
Hi! I’m a registered nurse, birth doula, and childbirth educator based in Philadelphia. I help people have empowered and joyful birth experiences.
Nice to meet you!
I am a hospital-based labor and delivery nurse who became a doula when a close friend announced her plan to have a home birth back in early 2020. Since then I completed my doula training with Birth Arts International and have supported dozens of births in a variety of locations. I enjoy working in both clinical and non-clinical roles because they challenge me and enrich my life while impacting families in equally important ways.
I have experience working with all kinds of families, including LGBTQIA couples, single parents, those utilizing reproductive technology, high-risk pregnancies, and more.
I am passionate about birth education and preparation, empowered and informed choice, and using movement and positioning to facilitate physiologic birth.
But what I am most interested in is you and your family!
- What is important to you?
- Where are your knowledge gaps?
- What are your hopes, dreams, and fears when it comes to labor and birth?
